Financial donations to Lighthouse help in many ways.
1. By helping us meet our cash match requirements.
We are required to have matching money for most of our grants. This fiscal year alone the match on the HUD grants are $71,325.00. The STAR program requires alomst $100,00.00 cash match each year. Some of this money comes from United Way, Foundations, Churches, Cooperations, Fundraising events, and Generous Individuals.
2. When you volunteer time to work as an advocate at our STAR program lives are touched and familes are comforted knowing they are not dealing with these trauma alone.
3. Your financial gifts can keep mothers and children together in our housing program. It can keep mothers in treatment and provide assistance toward learning job skills, child care skills, and staying drug free.
