Other Prevention Resources
Throughout the year, the Prevention Program is active within the community providing presentations to various organizations, schools, churches, and civic groups. We are dedicated to providing the community with awareness of the different types of prevention programs that we offer. This is mostly accomplished through health fairs, national observance days, and various events that are sponsored by our community partners.
Some of our community awareness activities include:
National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April)
National HIV Testing Day (June 27)
National Recovery Month (September)
Red Ribbon Week (October 23-Oct 31)
World AIDS Day (December 1)
HIV Testing at local Homeless Shelters (ongoing)
